A Bright Idea, Literally

Can you create a light that manages to be both ambient and direct?  By harnessing our team's collective expertise, we crafted a clear and effective solution - proof that innovation travels at the speed of light.

Taking Cue From Nature

In Japanese, Konoha (木の葉) translates to "tree leaf" and is used as a first name that carries connotations of harmony, tranquility, and a connection to the natural world.  We thought about Japanese gardens where trees offer shade through the day and form quiet compositions at night when lit.

Rotation That Changes the Atmosphere

The discreet wall lamp features a directed spotlight for work or reading, which can also rotate 360° to reflect off the inside of the shade, casting a soft, warm cone of ambient light.

Subtle Shades Do the Work

We chose a muted palette of Black, Moss Grey, Chalk, and Terracotta, designed to blend seamlessly within any space while paying homage to the quiet confidence of Japanese design.

Function Adapts to the Setting

Konoha works as both a reading light and an ambient lamp for waiting rooms, bedrooms, or hotels. It can also be placed in walkways as a focused point of light, used to illuminate tables in restaurants without occupying surface space, or directed downward to highlight objects.
