When used thoughtfully, art, objects, and accessories establish a connection to place and evoke intimacy at a human scale. Although styling is the final layer of the design narrative, it is often the first thing a client notices, leaving a lasting impression.

Our clients, the Aman Group and Mori Building Co., envisioned both a literal and figurative crown for the top of the Mori JP Tower, the tallest building in Japan. Perched at the peak, the residences remain connected to the vibrant village below—a community centered on connectivity, culture, and nature.
Our styling team led the narrative development, research, and sourcing through to on-site installation. The client recognized styling as an essential element, collaborating with us and their procurement team to source unique artifacts and commission custom pieces from our network of Japanese artisans. The result is communal spaces shaped with clarity and purpose, each carrying a character of its own.

Bold choices, curiosity, and a sense of adventure shaped the styling for Moxy DTLA, capturing the brand’s playful spirit. Inspired by a desire to reimagine the neighborhood through a fresh and contemporary lens, we developed a narrative that gives the space its own character. As a two brand hotel tower, Moxy needed to establish its own identity while maintaining a clear relationship to AC DTLA, achieving balance without separation.
The styling concept built on the narrative of an adventurous muse journeying across the California desert on their motorcycle. Operating within a streamlined budget for this accessible hotel, we focused on vegetation and florals as sculptural expressions. By partnering locally, we highlighted materials and design cues authentic to the region.

cc-tapis offered us a new canvas to translate our most personal memories into a collection of rugs. With complete creative freedom, we took on the challenge of designing abstract forms that balance conceptual boldness with practical clarity.
Styling was tasked with demonstrating how two-dimensional abstractions could translate within a three-dimensional environment for audiences unfamiliar with our nostalgia. The team refined concepts, directed art, and styled on-site for a lifestyle shoot that placed the rugs among personal objects belonging to George and Glenn, helping audiences envision them within their own spaces.
