Shore Road Residence, Amagansett

Drawing from the spirit of summer camp, George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg began the journey of designing their Amagansett home. Intended as a place to welcome friends, family, strangers, and loved ones, their beach house became a hallmark of the art of innkeeping. Bunk beds, playful wood lockers, and open-air dining spark nostalgia and joy that brings guests from near and far back to Amagansett every summer.

Yabu Pushelberg creates immersive environments and designs considered products. George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg founded the studio in 1980 with a focus on interior design and have since expanded into a multidisciplinary practice that addresses multiple layers of the human experience.
